We are looking for a Special Needs Teacher at Mölle School

Do you want to make a real difference for students' development and learning? At Mölle School, reading instruction is a central part of our pedagogical work. We are now looking for a licensed teacher with a special needs teacher degree with a focus on language, reading, and writing development.

Mölle School has approximately 200 students in grades F-6. The school operates with a two-teacher system, and teachers have close collaboration with the student health team.

Responsibilities

As a special needs teacher, you will work closely with students, both individually, in small groups, and in the classroom. You will prioritize close collaboration with class teachers, the student health team, and parents to create the best possible conditions for learning. The position is focused on grades 4-6 with a special emphasis on reading and writing development, as well as some special needs interventions in mathematics.

In this role, you will:

• Teach students in need of special support, primarily in Swedish.
• Conduct pedagogical assessments and create action plans.
• Collaborate with class teachers and the student health team.
• Contribute to the school's development work regarding accessible teaching and early support measures.
• Lead collegial initiatives.
• Document and follow up on interventions according to current routines.
• Maintain close contact with students and parents.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• A special needs teacher degree with a focus on language, writing, and reading development.
• Experience working with students in need of special support, particularly in reading and writing development, preferably in grades 4-6.
• Good knowledge of reading and writing acquisition as well as language-developing working methods.
• Experience working with pedagogical documentation and digital tools.
• Experience analyzing results and creating action plans at group and individual levels.
• Experience collaborating with student health teams, parents, and colleagues.
• Experience working with compensatory aids.
• Good knowledge of working and building relationships with students with neurodevelopmental disorders (NPF).
